We are the only UK charity that exclusively represents and supports people with any type of EDS. We believe nobody should be left to fight on their own. Every person with EDS or HSD should have access to the appropriate medical services and care.

We have a network of volunteer-led peer support groups across the UK and we run a free helpline five days per week which is available to everyone, including people with EDS or HSD, their families, friends, carers and healthcare professionals. We have developed two online toolkits in partnership with others: one for GPs (ehlers-danlos.org/toolkit) and one for school staff (theschooltoolkit.org).

The Ehlers-Danlos Support UK strives to educate the healthcare community, promote continuity of care, improve accurate diagnosis and provide good quality information on specialist treatment and management of the conditions. We also support and encourage vital research to further understand the conditions.
