Ashley is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Peripheral Nerve Injuries at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. With extensive experience as a clinician, educator, and researcher, he is committed to improving outcomes for patients suffering from chronic neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain.

As a Trustee of Pain UK, Ashley brings expertise in surgical leadership, serving as faculty for the Executive Fellowship in Surgical Leadership for Kings Health Partners, medical education and clinical research, and further insight as a medicolegal expert. His research includes pioneering projects utilising artificial intelligence to enhance the diagnosis and management of nerve injuries, as well as collaborative efforts to improve care pathways for trauma patients.

A passionate advocate for patient-centred care, Ashley aims to contribute to Pain UK’s mission of supporting individuals living with chronic pain by advancing education, innovation, and awareness.
