The Vulval Pain Society Super Workshop will be held on Saturday 9 May 2015 in the Lecture theatre, BO1, basement of The Clore Management Centre, Torrington Square, Bloomsbury, London, WC1E 7JLmap
Registration is at 9.00 am and the day will end at 4.00 pm.
This event is geared towards women with vulval pain and their partners while health professionals are also very welcome. It’s a full day of information with emphasis on practical ways to help in the management of vulval pain. Speakers will include Dr David Nunns (FRCOG & founder of the VPS), Dr Ashish Shetty MD, Consultant in Pain Medicine, Lucia Berry, Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in women’s health and Kate Moyle, Psychosexual Therapist. There will also be a motivational talk from patient Bridie Nelson, plus a patient’s firsthand account of surgery for pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE).
The cost for the day is £20 per person; lunch and refreshments are included. Click here to book your place. Workshops are friendly and informal and all aspects of vulval health are discussed openly including issues relating to the impact on intimate relationships. There will be some slides of a graphic nature.
