Contact Clive Clifton
After leaving school in 1959 Clive had several jobs that he would describe as mundane but then he passed his motorcycle/car/HGV test. Clive drove HGV’s for many years both in the UK and Europe.
Clive was the founder and ran the Trail Bike Enduro Club, which is still running today. Unfortunately Clive is no longer involved with this as he is far too busy with other commitments such as acting as a Trustee for Pain UK.
Clive joined the TA and served in The Royal Military Police for 12 years. He then worked for Thames Water for 27 years until retirement. Clive has been a volunteer at Brooklands Museum on the Aviation side for 20 years and still attends on a regular basis as he has a keen interest in Aviation.
In the summer he likes to attend country fairs and steam rallies. He is kept busy with the 2 stationary engines that he is trying to restore. Also Clive helps out with OAP’s at the village hall and assists them with administrative responsibilities such as getting to grips with e-mails etc…
Clive has suffered with Trigeminal Neuralgia since 2004 and has had 2 operations. He Joined TNA and has been the Membership Officer since 2007. We are pleased to announce that Clive was voted onto the board of Trustees at Pain UK on 17th December 2014.
Who said retirement is easy?
