  • I am a branding and marketing consultant with a special focus on digital marketing and social media. I have over 30 years experience creating, launching, developing and building brands. My first project working with a charity won a prestigious D&AD (design and marketing) award for Save the Children.

    I found the experience extremely motivating and for the past few years I have been an advisor to The Design Council – a United Kingdom charity incorporated by Royal Charter. Its stated mission is “to champion great design that improves lives and makes things better”. It is instrumental in the promoting of the concept of inclusive design.

    In 2016 I was a contracted consultant for the British Pain Society (introduced by Antony) and helped develop their brand proposition and communication strategy. I re-designed their brand identity and launched them across social media embassies. I created their PAIN:LESS campaign and re-launched their website (including developing PR articles for the National Press – The Guardian, Times etc.) In this role I learned a lot about chronic pain and the medical infrastructure.

    Last year I was also recovering from an accident that left me in chronic pain too. I am dedicated to developing the message that this is a key issue affecting our society and promoting better advice and support.

    To thank Antony for his introduction I also redesigned the Pain UK logo. I look forward to helping develop a marketing strategy to promote and build the brand.
