Help and Support for people in Pain

Every year, millions of people phone helplines for advice. While they can never be seen as a substitute for going to see your GP, they do offer the chance to speak to someone who understands what it is like to be in pain, and they can help to point you towards information that is tailored to your specific needs and circumstances.

Almost all of our member charities run helplines. To find the one that can help you, visit our member charities page and click on the logo of any charity that interests you.

We have also listed answers to frequently asked questions.

If you find the information provided by any of the charities useful, then why not consider giving them a small donation?

Please note…
Pain UK can only provide information, not give advice. The information on this site is not a substitute for a personal consultation with a qualified medical professional. If in doubt, please talk to your doctor.
